Kid’s ATV: How Safe Is This Machine For The Kids?

Many experts believe that ATV riding should not be for kids below 16 years of age. Since ATVs are big and powerful motorized machines that can go as fast as 60 mph, many experts cautioned parents against letting their kids who are under 16 years old to use these machines. Studies have shown that most ATV accidents are attributed to the kid’s inability to control the machine, which could weigh up to 600 lbs. Although there are some kids ATV models that are smaller and easier to control than the standard ATV, many experts are still reluctant to endorse ATV riding to kids younger than 16 years of age.
